well it´s 02.10am. it´s late and i can´t sleep cuz i´m working right now !! well nightwatch is not a hardwork but it´s just so tiring cuz i have to stay awake all night.....and tomorrow gotta catch the early train on 06.55 for bad mergentheim,where i have my surgery class at 10am...oh!! i´m so dead...

on the 11th i had my birthday and didn´t do anything to celebrate it cuz i was just tired with all the classes i had and i dunno why..i spent that evening in the ER of the Hospital...then came this one patient with acute abdomen, that needed an operation. I talked to the Attending and assured him that it´s my birthday and that´s why i shud be allowed to be inside the OP-Table and to assist him =P...o well he did allow me that..and i won´t forget my first OP !!! it was so great..the feelings of having control ( yeah..i do exagerate..) and knowing that the patient would get better soon..directly after the OP was undertaken.

I found it interesting that the Attending asked me, whether i like girls or not...at that moment i couldn´t answer, i just didn´t know how i shud answer...he said i shudn´t be a surgeon if i´m planning to have a family someday for any reasons..... The funny part is he also has a family.. I believe it´s only the question of one´s willingness to organize his time..

o well..i gtg now..duty calls !! cya

wow it´s been a a while since i last posted here..things have changed..i´ve been in my clinical years right now...have lots to do..my med schoo,medical thesis, and my job..

After 1,5 years in an elderly home i decided to switch jobs and am working in night shifts in the psychiatry department right now helping the nurses to keep the inhabitants ( if i may call our patients that way ) quiet and calm during their sleep.

ola gila g dah lama banget ya gak isi blog ini..well g lagi males seh minggu² kemaren gak tau juga kenapa

well ada berberapa cerita yg g bisa tulis seh di sini

hari kamis kemaren g nonton Operasi di rumah sakit tempat g buat praktikum, well ada 3 operasi yg 3 tonton... Kelenjar Empedu,Kista di Ovarium and satu lagi operasi lambung..operasi yg g tonton ini tapi pake laparoscopy meaning..pake kamera gitu..so dari luar itu cuma keliatan 3 luka kecil doang...keren banget lo..berasa maen joystick :D

well terus kemaren g beli Lego pertama gue dalam hidup :D:D gue bangga banget ama diri gue sendiri =) gak tau ya..it´s such a simple thing tapi g bangga aja ama diri gue...g soalnya beli pake duit kerja gue sendiri...well i just love it =)

well another cold day here in heidelberg...well not very cold bout 16° but everybody seems to take om their coat and pullover as if it were winter.

anyway i was in the Blutspendezentrale ( it´s kind of Blood Donation Central ) you can donate your blood there and get paid 20 € each time =) pretty good deal rite?? that´s why we ( my friends and me ) like to go there and donate our blood..

there is also another kind of blood donation, it´s called Plasma donation, here you don´t donate your "blood" but just its plasma meaning just the liquid of the blood but not the blood cell itself. Anyway i just made an Appointment for a Donation next week, this plasma donation is quite nice , you could theoritically donate everyweek =) meaning everyweek you´ll get 20€ for less than 2 hours of work =) and not to mention that´s also healthy =P

anyway...there´s a new game called "flirt up your life" dunno if it´s a good game or not..but it seems quite interesting, maybe i´ll ask a friend whether he can fix one for me =)

a cold breezy day here in heidelberg...i started my training at 6 am like i did yesterday :( it´s too early for me..it´s still too early

at about 12.30 i checked my cellphone,whether i had a missed call or an sms, and there was this sms from niza, she´s coming to heidelberg and going directly to chiang mai ( a nice thailand restaurant near the main station )...i thought at that time..wow great...this day is not gonna be that boring :) ( ***thx niz and also arvid, his bf, that came here too )

met the both of them at bout 13.30 in the restaurant, i ordered #35, it´s fried rice and it doesn´t cost much ( 4,45 € well quite expensive if you rate in in Indonesian Rupiah ) but it´s okay for germany..and it also tasted quite good

after eating, we went directly to the city..i took my bike and the both of them took the bus. we met again in Bismarckplatz ( a bus pool here in HD ) and strolled along the Hauptstrasse ( the mainstreet ) with its shops..

i did see some new boutiques like LUna, S.Oliver. well in HD you can really do a very good shopping therapie..so girls..if you need a good shopping therapie come to HD =)

we chatted along as we walked down the street and we took a lil break on the old bridge, took some pics...well the pics are nice...i´ve seen them in the digicam..maybe i´ll post some of them someday, that is if niza send me the pics....i´ll see to it, that she send me the pics =)

had a long chat in Kornmark, just under the castle....for about 40 mins, talking bout everything..from indina,to the situation in germany and jakarta etc etc....and then we took the stairs to the famous **blink blink =P** Heidelberger Castle, we went up everysingle steps to the castle( total = 315 stairs )it´s not that tiring today, and surprisingly it didn´t take all too long, bout 7mins i guessed..maybe cuz we chitchatted on the way

the view and panorama on the castle can´t be described here..it´s a mix of tranquilizing views and yet exciting...you can see the whole HD from the castle..and there you have the best view over the next hill on the other side of the river ( fyi HD is separated by the Neckar )

we stayed there for bout 40mins, took some pics and walked back to the university square..we decided to take a lil more walk to the peter´s church and the university library---

they waited then for their bus to take them back to the mainstation and back to stuttgart =) well it´s been a quite nice day although tiring, cuz i didn´t have the time to relax a bit after my training..but it´s worthed it =)

ehm....i haven´t updated this blog since the past few days...well it´s not that i didn´t have any time..well i had plenty of time, it´s just cuz i´m too lazy =p well i started to do my training again in the hospital today...

now i´m going through the 13days of hell..i have 13 days morning shift..it means i have to be there at 6 o´clock =( anyway..i see it as a good training for the next semester..gonna have my classes at 8-10, and normally i won´t be up before 10 =P

well... i dunno what to tell you folks again..now i have chips as dinner =D
